Question/Comment:
I have noticed that Levitra does produce an erection and I don't get more than a slight runny nose, it does seem to decrease sensation. Do others have this? Do any of the other drugs not do that? Thanks Ed

iGuard Answer/Reply:
Levitra can cause decreased sensation. The other medications in this class are Viagra and Cialis, and you may do better with one than the other. Ask your doctor for a prescription to try one of the other ones, as either Viagra or Cialis may work better for you.

You may want to ask your doctor about either Viagra or Cialis. Sometimes patients respond better to one than another. If you have not had success with Levitra, one of the other medications may be a better choice for you.

58yr old male, takes Levitra. It does work for giving you an erection if you take it one hour before, however, it gives me a headache and definitely bothers my sinus. This only lasts for an evening.

Question/Comment:
A COMMENT POSTED IN A POPULAR IMPOTENCE NEWS GROUP...... A MIDDLE AGED GENTLEMAN COMPLAINED THAT TAKING CIALAS,VIAGARA,OR LEVETRA ALONE WAS NOT WORKING FOR HIS ED.,BUT COMBINING A 10 MG LEVTRA WITH A 10 MG CILIAS WORKED WONDERS........iS THIS A DANGERIOUS IDEA?

iGuard Answer/Reply:
Cialis and Levitra work in the same way. Taking both will not improve the effectiveness of eiither medication. Also, taking both at the same time can cause the side effects to be greatly increased. Taking both could cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.

Question/Comment:
44 yr old male here. Dr first prescribed Cialis. Wow, was my erection hard and sustainable... but the side effected were horrendous! Headache so bad I nearly went to the emergency room. Next Dr gave me Viagra. Worked nearly as well, and headache was not as bad.... BUT, side effects lasted FOREVER. Headache, flushing, stuffy nose... all lasted for two days! I also have acid reflux and am on Omeprazole for that. I then sought out the advice of a Urologist who told me that the way my body absorbs the Viagra is tainted by the acid reflux drug and stays in my system too long because of it. He prescribed Levitra because it is absorbed differently (faster) in my case. Erection wise, it's just as powerful and sustained as Cialis was. Yes the side effects are still there BUT not usually as bad and more importantly... not nearly as long. On Viagra the whole next day was shot. On Levitra I'm fine after a good nights sleep. So my advise to men on an acid reflux medicine would be to seek out the advise of a Uralogist and inquire about Levitra.
