Question/Comment:

Female 56 started with panick attacks, or so I was told. Hospitalized twice to control excessive high BP. I was put on Bystolic 5 with Ativan 05 when needed. I feel that the Bystolic has
caused an increase in my anxiety. It does occasionally cause my
pressures to drop to unhealthy lows which causes faintness. I do feel racing, sometimes slow, and sometimes skipped beats. I did not have this prior to starting Bystolic. At night I feel my heart racing and I get very hot and sweaty. By the time I spend a fitful and restless night, I wake up very aggitated and anxiety very high. has made me worse. AND, if I get anxious, I do still get break
through high pressures. Docs are afraid to increase dose since I
do have unexplained drops in pressure and pulse. ALL testing has come back normal ( EKG, X rays,MRI,tests for seizures, blood panels, heart-lung-kidney-liver tests,

Question/Comment:

Question/Comment:

My sugestion is that doctors should take classese on pharmacology. They should design a form, just like yours, and check before they priscribe how the medication will effect. They should abondon learning about medication from "detail" men/women.

Question/Comment:

My Doctor just prescribed Bystolic 10mg.for hypertension. I was taking Exforge 10mg and had HORRIBLE side effects. I cut the tablet in half and the side effects diminished a bit.
I start the Bystolic tab tomorrow morning and I will post back to state my results next week.
